What is Hanko(Inkan)?
In Japan, a hanko (Inkan) is a personal stamp used as a signature, for various purposes such as signing documents, contracts, or even artwork. It usually contains the person's last name in kanji characters. However, what I create is not traditional hanko. I hand-draw hanko designs for people's first names in Katakana using a digital drawing app.
Can I have an invoice for my purchase?
Yes, you can find your invoice in your account under Order History > My Orders (scroll to the right). Please click "Invoice" to download the PDF.
Can I register EEFOTO stamp in Japanese local government office?
Unfortunately, as it is a digital image, you cannot officially register it in local government offices. The purpose of EEFOTO's stamp is more for fun: using it as a watermark, adding it to your artworks, or as an avatar.
I cannot find a hanko design with my name on eefoto.com.
This is all hand-drawn and not AI-generated design, so your name may not be available overnight. I am the only creator. If you cannot find your name, please feel free to request* your name here. *The requested design can be purchased by anyone.
